The remaining members have a choice of who to side with. Speaking to her will cause the demon to take over Lohse and attack Saheila. Lohse will seek the elven seer Saheila located in the ghetto’s cavern.
She recommends taking the spell casting Enchanter role but is open to any class the party wants. If not already a main character, Lohse can be found in Fort Joy ghetto square overlooking the large alter. Lohse’s Storyline in Divinity Original Sin 2 Due to her possession at certain times she may be uncontrollable, in a poor strategic position, or even unconscious. Last, Lohse herself should take a non-critical role in the party, like a damage dealer. This can result in some urgency to protect bystanders with spells like Nether Swap, Uncanny Evasion, and Cryogenic Stasis. In many cases, Telekensis can be useful to grab quest items without provoking enemies or guards. The main character should have high Persuasion to convince NPCs of their position. Keep in mind that any character made at the start of the game is given main character status, and cannot be removed or added once within the campaign. Some of her memorable bardic performances only occur as a companion, not when selected as a main avatar.

While a companion Lohse will seek ways to free herself of this curse, as a main character she has more options to embrace and work with the demon. Fane, or a custom undead, can access an alternate pathway that would kill anyone else. She is likely to respond well to jovial choices, while the demon may overtake and attack people important to Sebille, Fane, and Ifan. Lohse is a rather free-spirited minstrel who is haunted by a demon possessing her.
